Characteristics
IRON is a modern LED luminaire with a rated power of 30–50 W and a luminous flux of 4,800–8,000 lm, designed for operation in demanding hazardous (explosion-risk) environments such as mines, industrial installations, and petrochemical facilities. Its high luminous efficacy of 160 lm/W and wide correlated color temperature range (2200–6500 K) allow optimal adaptation of the lighting parameters to the specific requirements of the application.
The luminaire is manufactured from die-cast aluminium with a PVDF coating, ensuring maximum resistance to corrosion, UV radiation, and extreme environmental conditions. The dual-compartment design separates the optical section from the power supply section, facilitating maintenance and LED module replacement. Compact dimensions, high mechanical resistance (IK09/IK10), and a high ingress protection rating (IP66/IP67) guarantee durability and reliability in all operating conditions.
The luminaire has been engineered for operation in the most demanding environments, providing maximum safety and reliability. The robust die-cast aluminium housing with PVDF coating is resistant to corrosion, salt mist, and UV radiation, confirmed by corrosion class C3-H in accordance with ISO 9227. With a high degree of protection rated IP66 / IP67 and mechanical resistance IK09 / IK10, the luminaire ensures long-term durability even in harsh industrial environments. Integrated protections – thermal, surge, short-circuit, and ESD – combined with an active LED temperature sensor that reduces current in case of overheating, further enhance operational safety. Maintenance is simplified thanks to the use of a scissor-type, 3-pole power disconnector.
