Context & Challenge
Local governments expected rapid reduction of energy and maintenance costs alongside improved road safety on local roads and pedestrian routes. In practice, this required modernising a large number of lighting points across a dispersed area, within the public procurement framework, based on uniform technical standards and tendering documentation requirements.
Scope & Solution
Linter Energia delivered a full turnkey modernisation — from planning and coordination across municipalities, through supply chain logistics, to installation and commissioning. The scope included dismantling existing high-energy fixtures, installing modern LED luminaires, ancillary works on mounting arms and wiring as required by documentation, implementing power reduction profiles, and performing measurements and acceptance procedures. The key was standardising quality and ensuring repeatability at every location — despite differences in existing infrastructure and site conditions.
Outcome
The region gained a new lighting standard: more uniform light distribution, stable light quality, and lower operating costs. For the contracting authorities, predictability of maintenance was equally important — new infrastructure means fewer failures, faster fault diagnosis, and easier service planning. The project confirmed Linter Energia's ability to deliver large, dispersed projects where technology, timeliness, and consistent quality across multiple execution points all matter simultaneously.
