Context & Challenge
In cross-municipal projects, the challenge is standard consistency — so that users (drivers and pedestrians) experience similar lighting quality regardless of administrative boundaries. Simultaneously, the work often involves diverse terrain conditions and infrastructure at varying degrees of wear, requiring a flexible organisational approach.
Scope & Solution
The scope included replacing existing luminaires with LED and constructing new lighting points, including works on poles, foundations, and power lines — in accordance with project documentation. In parallel, control elements were modernised to enable more efficient lighting management. Implementation was conducted in a distributed arrangement — with division into locations and phasing of works, allowing operational continuity of infrastructure to be maintained.
Outcome
The outcome is a higher lighting standard on roads and in public spaces, reduced energy costs, and improved safety for residents. By combining modernisation and expansion, the project delivered a qualitative change not only at existing points, but also in places previously under-lit or requiring new infrastructure construction.
