As part of the implementation, street lighting was modernized by replacing energy-consuming fixtures with modern LED technology. The modernization contributed to reducing energy costs and improving the lighting parameters of the road spaces.

Context & Challenge

The project carried out in Gmina Nisko aimed at a comprehensive modernization of the street lighting system and a significant improvement in its energy efficiency. The key challenge was to replace a large number of outdated fixtures while simultaneously adapting the infrastructure to meet current technical and operational standards.

Scope & Solution

The investment included replacing 600 energy-inefficient fixtures with modern LED luminaires, as well as upgrading existing lighting points with elements meeting technical requirements. The project was completed with full integration of new solutions with existing infrastructure. It was funded by the Government of Poland through the "Polski Ład" Strategic Investment Program.

Outcome

The modernization led to a significant improvement in lighting quality and an increase in the energy efficiency of the system. The investment also contributed to enhancing public space user safety and reducing operating costs.
