Context & Challenge
The objective of the project was to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the street lighting infrastructure within the City of Krosno. A key challenge was maintaining a technically complex and diverse system, including various types of lighting as well as both dedicated and shared network infrastructure.
Scope & Solution
The scope of work included comprehensive maintenance of the street lighting infrastructure in Krosno, covering low-voltage networks, lighting points, and control devices. The system comprised several thousand lighting points of various types, including street, park, and autonomous lighting, as well as lighting for bus stops, pedestrian crossings, bridges, and architectural illumination. Additionally, the maintenance covered lighting poles, control cabinets, power distribution, and a control system based on SIM communication. The works included ongoing operation, maintenance, and fault repair, carried out both under the standard service agreement and additional orders.
Outcome
The project ensured continuity of operation and high efficiency of the city’s lighting infrastructure. Regular maintenance and ongoing service contributed to improved reliability of the lighting system, as well as enhanced safety and comfort for users of public spaces.
