Context & Challenge
The project carried out in Gmina Wólka aimed at a comprehensive modernization of road lighting by replacing outdated sodium and mercury-vapor fixtures with modern LED solutions. The key challenge was to improve the system’s energy efficiency and adapt the infrastructure to current technical standards while maintaining uninterrupted operation.
Scope & Solution
The investment included replacing 717 lighting fixtures with energy-efficient LED luminaires. The project also involved the necessary installation works, dismantling and disposal of removed components, and preparation of as-built documentation, ensuring full compliance with technical and operational requirements.
Outcome
The modernization resulted in a significant improvement in lighting quality and a substantial reduction in electricity consumption. This translated into lower operating costs and increased road user safety.
