Context & Challenge
Orły Municipality needed to modernize its existing street lighting system, which was based on older sodium and mercury luminaires. The issue was high energy consumption, increased operating costs and the need to ensure continuous servicing and maintenance of the extensive lighting infrastructure.
Scope & Solution
The scope of the investment included the dismantling of 1,123 existing luminaires and the installation of new, energy-efficient LED luminaires. As part of the task, maintenance covered a total of 1,243 lighting points.
Outcome
The investment resulted in the modernization of street lighting in Orły Municipality and improved the system’s energy efficiency. Replacing the luminaires with LED technology helped reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs, while long-term maintenance ensured the ongoing efficiency of the infrastructure and increased residents’ safety after dark.
