Context & Challenge
The project carried out in Gmina Chmielnik aimed at the comprehensive modernization of lighting infrastructure by replacing outdated, energy-consuming fixtures with modern LED solutions. A key challenge was not only to increase energy efficiency but also to integrate the system with intelligent control solutions while maintaining the existing infrastructure.
Scope & Solution
The scope of the investment included the replacement of 64 lighting fixtures in several locations within the municipality, including Lubania–Różaniec, Ługi, Przedwórz, Sędziejowice, and Grabowiec. The works also involved the installation of power supply cables, the installation of brackets, and the modernization of lighting points adapted to an intelligent control system. The applied LED luminaires meet certification requirements and enable remote management of lighting parameters.
Outcome
The project resulted in a significant reduction in electricity consumption and an improvement in lighting quality across the municipality. The modernization contributed to increased system efficiency, reduced operating costs, and enhanced safety for road users.
