Context & Challenge

Nowa Sarzyna needed a comprehensive modernization of its street lighting system, which included a large number of existing lighting points. The issue was the high energy consumption of the old luminaires and the need to improve lighting management and fault reporting across the municipality.

Scope & Solution

The scope of the investment included replacing around 2,000 lamps with modern, energy-efficient LED luminaires together with network equipment. The project also involved the expansion of lighting in selected locations and the maintenance of road, square and street lighting devices. An additional element was the implementation of an IT system for geolocation, management and inventory of lighting infrastructure, together with a mobile application.

Outcome

The investment resulted in the modernization of street lighting in Nowa Sarzyna and a significant improvement in the system’s energy efficiency. Replacing luminaires with LED technology helped reduce energy consumption and operating costs, while the implemented management system made it easier to monitor the infrastructure and respond more quickly to failures.
