As part of the modernization, mercury vapor lamps were replaced with LED fixtures featuring high lighting efficiency. The new lighting infrastructure provides stable performance parameters and a significant reduction in electricity consumption. The modernization also increased the reliability of the entire system.

Context & Challenge

The project carried out in Gmina Żyrzyn aimed at a comprehensive modernization of the street lighting system, focused on improving energy efficiency and lighting quality. The key challenge was not only to replace outdated fixtures but also to implement solutions enabling intelligent system management while ensuring the infrastructure’s consistency.

Scope & Solution

The investment involved replacing 571 lighting fixtures with energy-efficient LED fixtures, along with additional equipment and integration with an intelligent lighting management system. The project also included preparatory work, coordination with the network operator, and traffic management, along with the preparation of necessary technical documentation. It was carried out under the "Polski Ład" program.

Outcome

The result of the project is a significant improvement in street lighting quality and an increase in the energy efficiency of the system. The implementation of intelligent control has allowed for better management of the installation's operating parameters and has also contributed to increased safety for public space users.
