Context & Challenge
In the traditional investment model, municipalities must bear the costs of modernization from their own funds, which often limits the pace of infrastructure replacement. ESCO transfers the decision-making burden and ensures that the project generates savings, which will finance the investment. It requires reliable energy analyses, correct parameter selection, and the maintenance of consistent quality over time.
Scope & Solution
The project involved replacing 2000 lighting points with LED fixtures, implementing night power reduction, and monitoring the infrastructure. The modernization ensures stable energy savings and a predictable billing model for the municipality. A long-term service approach was applied to maintain the infrastructure's parameters throughout its operational life. The investment also included the reconstruction of 71 km of power supply lines, the addition of 70 lighting points, and the modernization of 81 street lighting control cabinets.
Outcome
The result is a modern lighting system with reduced energy consumption and an investment model that facilitates municipalities in making decisions on further modernization. The project demonstrates that Linter Energia is not only capable of completing the work but also drives transformations in energy efficiency—integrating technology, analysis, and operational approaches to investments at multiple levels, which significantly deviate from the traditional way of replacing fixtures.
