Gmina Opatówek – Lighting Infrastructure Modernization

The Municipality of Opatówek has completed the modernization of its street lighting by replacing outdated luminaires with modern LED fixtures. The project improves energy efficiency, enhances visibility, and increases user comfort.

Context & Challenge

The investment aimed to improve the energy efficiency of street lighting and reduce operating costs while keeping the system fully operational. The works also had to meet tender requirements and minimize disruption for residents.

Scope & Solution

The project included the replacement of 692 outdated fixtures with modern ENEC and ENEC+ certified LED luminaires. The new lighting was installed within the existing power and control system, without major modifications. The works covered dismantling, installation, configuration, as-built documentation and technical acceptance.

Outcome

The municipality gained a modern and efficient lighting system that improves visibility, user comfort and infrastructure maintenance. The project was co-financed by the Government Fund Polish Deal: Strategic Investment Programme, covering 80% of eligible costs.
