Context & Challenge

The project was implemented under the Government Strategic Investment Programme. Its aim was to improve road and pedestrian safety through better visibility, while reducing energy costs and environmental impact. The modernization required maintaining lighting continuity and minimizing disruption for residents.

Scope & Solution

The project included the purchase and installation of 350 new LED luminaires with the required equipment. The energy-efficient fixtures offer long service life and lower maintenance costs compared to traditional lighting. They were also equipped with a remote control system, enabling easier lighting management across the municipality.

Outcome

The municipality gained a modern, energy-saving street and road lighting system that improves visibility, safety and resident comfort. The project received funding from the “Rozświetlamy Polskę” programme, covering 80% of the costs, with the remaining 20% financed by the municipality.
