Context & Challenge
The project carried out in Gmina Gorzyce responded to the need for comprehensive modernization of street lighting infrastructure, aimed at improving energy efficiency and the quality of public space after dark. A key challenge was to carry out the work in a way that ensured uninterrupted operation of the system while simultaneously raising technical standards and adapting the installation to current requirements.
Scope & Solution
The scope of the investment included the replacement of 444 lighting fixtures with modern, energy-efficient LED luminaires, as well as the modernization of poles along with cabling. The remaining works included dismantling and disposal of existing elements and the implementation of auxiliary works necessary for the full integration of the new infrastructure. All activities were carried out in an organized manner and in accordance with accepted technical standards.
Outcome
The completed modernization resulted in a significant improvement in lighting performance parameters and a notable increase in the system’s energy efficiency. Operational costs were reduced, and the level of safety and comfort for users of public spaces was improved.
